Equestrian Canada (EC) has named Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu of Saint Bruno, QC the January 2018 Red Scarf Equestrian Dressage Athlete of the Month based on the excellent scores she achieved during the third week of the Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF), held Jan. 25-28 in Wellington, FL.
Fraser-Beaulieu received two scores of over 70% riding her 2015 Toronto Pan American Games partner, All In (Tango x Damiro), the 13-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding she co-owns with her father, Craig Fraser and husband, Marc-Andre Beaulieu.
On Jan. 26, Fraser-Beaulieu earned a noteworthy 75.650% in the CDI-W Grand Prix Freestyle, placing fourth in the class and earning her highest-ever big tour score. In the CDI-W Grand Prix on Jan. 25, Fraser-Beaulieu was awarded a score of 71.217% by the judges to earn fifth place.
Fraser-Beaulieu and All In continue to post high scores at the AGDF series, proving that they are a force to be reckoned with in the big tour this season.
“I am very honoured to be named athlete of the month,” said Fraser-Beaulieu. “Thank you to Red Scarf, who continually sponsors this award. I am very pleased with my results in January on All In and am looking forward to the rest of the Wellington season.”
As the Dressage Athlete of the Month for January, Fraser-Beaulieu will be receiving a generous gift certificate from Red Scarf Equestrian that can be used toward the purchase of elegant equestrian luggage, travel bags and accessories that are all made in Canada.
